International Albinism Awareness Day (IAAD) 2026

Repairer of Breaches Ministries (RDBM) organised the International Albinism Awareness Day in Mbuji-Mayi, Democratic Republic of Congo, in partnership with the Pierre Fabre Foundation and other local partners.
This activity brought together more than 500 participants, including people living with albinism, their families, healthcare professionals, local authorities and community members.
During this day, participants benefited from awareness-raising on the rights of people living with albinism, medical advice for the prevention of skin cancer, educational activities, as well as the distribution of sun protection products.
Through this initiative, RDBM reaffirms its commitment to promoting inclusion, protecting people living with albinism and restoring their dignity through concrete actions.
