We have recently provided assistance to albinos and individuals living with albinism in the Kasaï region, in Mbuji-Mayi. As part of our initiative, we distributed food and school supplies for the 2024-2025 school year, particularly to children in need, including those who are homeless or abandoned.
Unfortunately, individuals living with albinism in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly in Kasaï, are often perceived as inferior by a large part of the population. Their skin color leads to discrimination, mockery, and social rejection, placing them in a situation of increased vulnerability.
How our team helped
This is why our intervention is essential. We are determined to support these children, to restore their hope, and to help them build a better future. Thanks to your contributions, we can continue to fight against this discrimination and provide every child with the dignity and opportunities they deserve.
